|Heather Brown Kidde, CNM
Heather joined us in October, 2008 happily returning to her home state of Vermont. She attended Colorado College as an undergraduate, and the University of California, San Francisco where she received a Masters in Science with a specialty in Nurse-Midwifery & Women’s Health. Heather loves supporting women and their families through pregnancy and birth and watching the babes grow. Heather resides in Vergennes with her husband, daughter Lily and son Luke.
|Martha Redpath, CNM
Martha graduated with a Nursing Degree from Duke University and practiced for years as an OB nurse. She attended the Frontier School of Nurse-Midwifery, graduating in 1998. She also has a Master’s Degree in Nursing from Case Western University. Martha is active in many birth and community related causes. She has been honored to assist hundreds of families with their births.
|Anita Onofrio, CNM
Anita has been in health care since 1977 and has been a midwife in Vermont since 1986, sharing birth experiences with well over a thousand women and families. She has continued to offer holistic women’s health services in a variety of venues in both Vermont and New Hampshire. She is also a potter, a gardener, an outdoor enthusiast, and an avid thrift store shopper. She lives off the grid in the hills of Strafford with her husband, dog and cat, where she had the pleasure of raising her three grown children. Anita is pleased to be continuing her work with Tapestry Midwifery.
|Eve Hadley, CNM
Eve Hadley attended the University of Pennsylvania where she received her BSN in 2010 and her MSN in Midwifery and Women’s Health in 2012. Before training to be a midwife she worked as a labor and postpartum doula in New York City and Maine. She has experience working with women in a diverse array of settings, from large and small hospitals, to a birth clinic in Haiti, to home births in the Amish/Mennonite community. She also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in studio art from Wesleyan University. She loves working with women and families through the lifespan and is thrilled be working with Tapestry. When not catching babies she enjoys walking, making art, and cooking.
|Nancy Klopfenstein, RN
Nancy is the nurse manager for the practice. She worked for 2 years on the medical surgical floor at Porter Medical Center before transferring to the Birthing Center, where she was priviledged to work for 8 years before coming to Tapestry Midwifery. She is a certified child passenger safety technician and offers advice and assistance with car seats to our clients. She has lived in Vergennes for over 20 years and is thrilled to help bring midwifery care to the community.
|Betsy Sullivan, Office Administrator
Betsy has been with Tapestry Midwifery since September 2010. Betsy grew up in Vermont, graduated from Champlain College and soon after moved to Boston, MA. She returned to her hometown of Vergennes eight years later and currently resides in Panton with her husband and two children. She fully embraces the Vermont country life, raising lamb, sheep, ducks, turkeys and chickens!
|Sarah Hale, Office Administrator
Sarah has had experience in other medical practices and feels fortunate to now be working with the team at Tapestry Midwifery in women’s health care. She resides in Vergennes with her family.
|Sarah Bouchard, RN
Sarah works part time at Tapestry, and graduated from the University of Vermont in 2010. Previous to that she had a massage therapy/doula practice in Burlington, Vermont. She lives in Monkton and enjoys being a mama to her son Aidan, gardening and being outdoors.
