Our Staff

Martha Redpath, CNM
Martha graduated with a Nursing Degree from Duke University and practiced for years as an OB nurse.  She attended the Frontier School of Nurse-Midwifery, graduating in  1998.  She also has a Master's Degree in Nursing from Case Western University.  Martha is the president of the Vermont Chapter of the American College of Nurse Midwives and is active in many birth and community related causes. She has been honored to assist hundreds of families with their births.
 
 
Nancy Klopfenstein, RN
Nancy is the nurse manager for the practice. She comes to Tapestry Midwifery after working at the Porter Birthing Center for 8 years.

 Maggie Gardner
Maggie works in a support role at the office and handles insurance and billing. She is a certified doula and worked as a midwife assitant in a busy homebirth practice before joining Tapestry Midwifery.  She has experience working in both inpatient and outpatient hospital settings in clerical and nurse's aide roles.
